Membership Requirements
A certain level of musical knowledge and ability is required for joining the choir:
You should meet
- the technical requirements (musical theory, general musical knowledge),
- the vocal requirements (sing in tune, have a sufficiently good voice)
- and be able to contribute to group discipline.
Candidates have to pass an audition before becoming members. This audition is organised by the director and takes place at the latest after the first rehearsal which the candidate has attended. At the audition the requirements mentioned above are tested.
There is an age limit for candidates who want to join the choir.
This can vary with the composition of the choir sections at the time of joining, but at any rate, the upper limit is fixed at 60.
